Mark has traveled to the Kenya (Rwanda and Uganda) now two times and each time the relationships grow and the ministry needs expand.
Over the years Destined Church (PFM) hopes to send more and more people to Kenya as a launching pad for missions and learning how to develop into missionaries that make a lasting impact for the Kingdom.

Country Snapshot

Population: ~58 million
Capital: Nairobi
Languages: The official languages are English and Swahili (Kiswahili). Additionally, there are over 40 distinct indigenous languages spoken across the country.
Government: A unitary presidential republic, where the President serves as both the Head of State and Head of Government.
Religion: The population is highly religious, composed mostly of Christians (around 80-82%). There is also a significant Muslim minority (around 10-11%), as well as practitioners of traditional African beliefs and smaller communities of Hindus and Bahá'ís.

The Ngahu Family

Bishop Hillary Ngahu and his wife Joyce (far right) with their two children, strive to advance the kingdom in the outskirts of Nairobi and the neighboring countries. They fully trust God for all of their needs and God has never failed them once. They desire to also raise up disciples that will in turn make more disciples and have committed their lives to seeing their nation/nations be transformed for this calling!

Faith + Ministry

A key component for their ministry is trusting God for all things. And they are trusting God for the ability to no longer rent property, but be able to build a church and be able to house missionaries in their home to then teach and train others through their church! We at Destined/PFM stand with them and are believing with them for this!

Prayer Need 1

Pray for their teaching and advancement of the Gospel to be something that truly saturates all of the hearts of people around them.

Prayer Need 3

That the funds would come in to support the construction of their church and the purchase of the property, $85,000.00. That the funds would also come for purchasing a vehicle, $20,000.00, that can get them to all the places they travel for equipping and encouraging other believers.

As their children finish college and also start college that God would provide for all of their needs and protect their children for advancing the kingdom in their way. But that Hillary and Joyce would be always equipped and rejuvenated for their next steps they need to take.
