The Philippines

The Philippines is dear to our heart as we spent 5 weeks there October - November 2025. Here we worked with Wilson and Angelica Flores, and family. We spent a great deal of time just building the relationship, to the point that when we left tears were shed as we felt like we were saying goodbye to family.
Below you will see our mission and hope for the Flores family as we support them in different ways. 

About The Philippines

Country Snapshot

Population: ~120 million
Capital: Manila
Languages: Taglug and English are the official languages, with more than 180 regional languages spoken.
Government: Democratic republic made up of more than 7,600 islands.
Religion: Primarily Christianity (~92%), with a large majority practicing Roman Catholicism. There is also a significant Muslim minority (~6%), primarily located in the southern region of Mindanao.  

The Flores Family

The Flores family are the ones that we actively support and work with to help them accomplish the mission that is within their hearts. They strive to build their own church near their home, and train up leaders all over the Philippines to become effective disciple-makers of the nations! They are pastors and also directors for the Philippines Disciple-Makers Movement (PDMM).

Faith + Ministry 

The Philippines has one of the largest Christian populations in Asia, yet many communities still have limited access to healthy churches, biblical training, and discipleship resources. The Flores work alongside local leaders and churches to train people to become fully obedient followers of Christ.

Current Prayer Needs

Please join in praying for these needs to be met from our Father who is more than capable to meet all of our needs!

Prayer Need 1

That the hearts that the Flores family reaches would be transformed into wholehearted followers of Christ setting aside all traditions to fully obey the calling of Christ. 

Prayer Need 3

Pray that the funds would come in to start the process of buying and building the church that they need. As you look at the photo of the Flores family they stand in front of the land they are believing for. So pray for all to be provided, $700,000.00 to build and complete the church/training building and mission compound.

Prayer Need 2

For protection in their family and church family. The work that they do keeps them busy and always going. Pray that the enemy would be kept away so that they can pursue all set before them while raising a family as well.

Lastly, that God would connect creative people to come alongside them on this journey to encourage, equip, and help them advance the kingdom in a global way!
Feed kids monthly for outreach
Raise monthly to feed their local kids in their area from youth down to 3-4 years old. They use this to do outreach and also get children school items that they may need.

Purchase land (the land is very expensive). This is two lots (big lots) We were able to pray with them over the land they are seeking. And see it for ourselves.
